LIZ JACKSON

Port Stanley, Ontario

About Liz

Liz grew up on a grape farm in Niagara. She was born with a keen interest in anything creative and was routinely called upon to draw things for her classmates.

Around the age of 12, she adopted a racoon she named Bushy who figured handsomely in her sketches. Art was her favourite subject.

She secured a degree in Textiles, Housing & Design from University of Guelph.
“Start with what you know” was an invaluable lesson she learned from her studies there.

She believes that art is an expression of the inner spirit and as such, one can learn a lot about the artist/creator by studying their work. Her creations encompass multi media & vary from sketching to painting, writing, quilting, interior design, photography & fabric arts.
