PAMELA VEZINA 9

PAMELA VEZINA

Encaustic Artist

It is my intention is to create works of art with natural and renewable resources. This begins an open conversation by using bursts of colour melded together with beeswax, resin, pigment and a heat source to fuse the wax. This is also known as encaustic painting.

Be it wild or gentle, my art has certain feeling of a life force. I believe this is due to the smell and luminous quality of the bee’s wax when it is heated.

Painting and drawing nature is an integral and meditative part of my life.

Extensive travel has exposed me to many cultures, enabling me to embody the beauty of everyday sights, textures, tastes, smells and sounds. These experiences directly influence my artistic endeavours and my interest in a meaninfgul artistic journey, coupled with the joy I receive by sharing my art.
